Polyimide Sheets(PI Sheets) are high- performance engineering plastics known for their exceptional thermal stability, mechanical strength, and chemical
resistance. These sheets are widely used in demanding industries such as
aerospace, electronics, and automotive due to their ability to withstand extreme temperatures and harsh environments.
(PI) has the following main characteristics:
1. Heat resistance: PI has extremely strong heat resistance. TGA thermogravimetric analysis shows that its decomposition temperature can reach 500℃-600℃, which is one of the most stable polymers at this stage.
2. Low temperature resistance: PI materials can still maintain a certain mechanical strength in ultra-low temperature environments, and will not crack even in liquid nitrogen environments.
3. Dielectric and insulation properties: It has good insulation properties and is suitable for packaging and insulation of electronic equipment.
4. Radiation resistance: PI materials are stable under high temperature, high vacuum and irradiation, and have good radiation resistance.
5. Chemical stability: PI is usually insoluble in common organic solvents, but has a certain solubility in certain polar organic solvents. It has high stability to oxidants and reducing agents, especially at high temperatures.
