Our PEI (Polyetherimide) rod is a high – performance thermoplastic product,

PEI has the following main characteristics:
1. PEI is a transparent amber amorphous thermoplastic that is non-toxic and odorless. Its density is 1.28~1.42g/cm³, with excellent dimensional stability and low shrinkage, and can maintain stable dimensions under various environmental conditions
2. PEI has excellent strength and modulus, with a yield tensile strength of up to 15,000 pounds per square inch, and a flexural modulus of up to 1,700,000 pounds per square inch after 20% glass fiber reinforcement. Its elongation at break is 60-80%, showing extraordinary toughness, and is suitable for applications requiring high strength and high rigidity
3. Thermal properties: PEI can still maintain high strength, rigidity and wear resistance at high temperatures. Its long-term use temperature range is 150°C to 170°C, its short-term heat resistance can reach 200°C, its heat deformation temperature is 220°C, and its glass transition temperature is 217°C
