PETP has the following characteristics:
1. Heat resistance: PETP has the highest heat deformation temperature and long-term use temperature among thermoplastic general engineering plastics. Reinforced PET is immersed in a 250°C solder bath for 10 seconds, and it hardly deforms or changes color, making it particularly suitable for preparing soldered electronic and electrical parts.
2. Mechanical properties: PETP has a bending strength of 200MPa and an elastic modulus of 4000MPa. It has good creep and fatigue resistance, high surface hardness, and mechanical properties similar to those of thermosetting plastics.
3. Processing performance: PETP does not explode during processing, and rarely collapses. It has the advantages of no fading, no discoloration, pressure resistance, impact resistance, high temperature resistance, corrosion resistance, and aging resistance.
4. Application areas: PETP is widely used in electronic appliances, automotive parts, medical devices, packaging materials, and other fields. It has bright colors, small color differences, good visual stereoscopic sense, and is not prone to quality problems during processing.
